Plugins - Modular add ons that grant the Programs new functionality.

On top, we have the Chore Coat, made of duck cotton canvas in a traditional button up manner, with commonly found interior and exterior pockets. With a call to action with 2 plugin locations.

This asymmetrical design features a internal drop pocket separate form the exterior pocket for more confidential items. These can always be counted on, with or without a plugin in play.

Next, we have the Work Pant, offering a relaxed, straight leg fit. The back welt pockets offer a formal look, while the side slant pockets cater to your comfort. The pant has 4 possible plugin opportunities, 2 at the front, one at each side, and 2 at the back.

Closing out the programs, we have the Tote Bag. This bag features an adjustable strap allowing it to be worn at 2 different lengths, with a slip at the bottom that can be used to stow away the excess length. Although the tote has only 1 potential location for a plugin, you can choose to wear it on the outside of the bag or inside of it!

The Plugins job is to introduce new functionality to your Programs. Its your job to find what woks for you.

Introducing the Cotton Case Plugin. A secure pocket offering dual zippers, for left and right hand accessibility as well as leather pull tabs for ease of entry. 4 metal buttons on the back allow it to “plug in” and be worn by the Programs.

Then there’s the sleek and non intrusive Nylon Pocket Plugin. Minimal in its design, RFIDsafe, and perfect for flatter objects. Offering the current collection a contrast on both color and material, while granting one the ability to get to the bottom of things.

In Action

Our handyman Justin utilizes the work pant with the cotton case, and on the right, the Blank Canvas Coat worn asymmetrically with the nylon pocket plugin.

Here we have Alexis, power posed in the work pant and myself in that exact pant, along with the rest of the collection. I have worked hard to make these garments unisex so they can be loved by everyone and handed down to future generations.

Here, Aaron gets familiar with the tote wearing it at just the right length for him, due to its adjustable strap. Which uses the same button utility as the Plugins.

With the tote carrying options vary depending on what you choose to carry, add ON or OFF.

Looking at a future of automation, the button to buttonhole relationship was visually informed by toggle switches on digital interfaces. The entire collection works at visually connecting traditional functions to the the future.

This whole system is made possible due to Operari’s own Bound Buttonhole.

The DNA of this buttonhole consists of multiple intricacies, utilizing laser cuts and machine sewing to hold up against modular use.

Not only do the plugins complete an outfit; they can be used all on their own.

Ultimately, getting you more use of your belongings.
